, the leader, songwriter, and rapper of , has announced his second full-length solo , titled “Right Place, Wrong Person”. The is set to release on May 24th and features 11 tracks, all written by himself.

The follow-up to his 2022 Indigo” will focus on moments of feeling like a stranger and being out of place. wrote and recorded the before beginning his compulsory period in the South Korean military. While his bandmate Jin is set to finish his enlistment in June 2024, RM won't complete his time until June 2025. This project marks his return after one year and five months and reveals an added layer of his unique artistic depth. Recently, j-hope, another member of BTS, unveiled a docuseries and mixtape titled “Hope on the Street”, which he had also recorded before enlisting.

According to a statement from BIGHIT MUSIC, “Right Place, Wrong Person” embodies RM's unique style as a solo artist, distinct from albums released under BTS. The is expected to feature an alternative sound, and rumors suggest that RM may have collaborated heavily with , a CoSign alum. RM's previous album, “Indigo”, featured collaborations with artists such as Erykah Badu, , and Tablo of Epik High.

Kim Nam-joon, born on September 12, 1994, is a South Korean rapper, songwriter, and record producer. He is best known by his stage name RM, formerly known as Rap Monster. RM leads the popular South Korean boy band BTS.

In 2015, RM released his first solo mixtape, titled RM, which was followed by his second mixtape, Mono, in 2018. Mono became the highest-charting album by a Korean soloist in the United States, when it peaked at number 26 on the Billboard 200.
