Travis Scott, Bad Bunny, and The Weeknd have released a new song titled “K-Pop.” This follows Scott’s pre-Astroworld tracks “Escape Plan” and “Mafia,” as well as the more recent “Down in Atlanta” and “Ring Ring.”
Travis Scott has released a new single titled “K-Pop” featuring Bad Bunny and the Weeknd. The rapper teased the song on social media earlier this week. The track is the latest addition to his music catalog, which includes pre-Astroworld tracks like “Escape Plan” and “Mafia,” as well as recent releases such as “Down in Atlanta” (with Pharrell Williams) and “Ring Ring” (with Chase B). This is not the first time Travis Scott and the Weeknd have worked together. They have previously collaborated on songs like “Power Is Power,” “Pray 4 Love,” “Wake Up,” and “Skeletons.” In 2017, Travis Scott also remixed Bad Bunny’s “Krippy Kush.”
Travis Scott’s upcoming album, “Utopia,” is now available for pre-order, but the release date has not yet been announced. It will be his first album since the tragic incident at his 2021 Astroworld music festival in Houston, where eight people lost their lives and many others were injured. Two other festival-goers died in the days following the event. Recently, a Texas grand jury decided not to indict the rapper on criminal charges related to the incident.
Back in May, Travis Scott played a preview of “Utopia” for members of the Houston Astros baseball team in their locker room. The rapper has been teasing the album for over a year, and billboards promoting it have been spotted around California leading up to last year’s Coachella festival.
