Chris Brown

Chris Brown, born on May 5th, 1989, is a versatile artist who has won a Grammy for Best R&B Album for his fourth studio album F.A.M.E. Chris is a singer, rapper, dancer, actor, graffiti artist, illustrator, and entrepreneur.

He made history by being the first male lead artist in eight years to debut at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 with his single “Run It!” in 2005. He is also a proud father of three children named Royalty, Aeko, and Lovely, with Royalty being the inspiration for his seventh studio album.

Chris has received numerous awards and nominations across multiple genres in his decade-spanning career. He has sold over 74 million units between his singles and albums combined, earning 40 RIAA plaques in 2017 alone. He has released commercially successful albums, including his debut and sophomore efforts, Chris Brown and Exclusive, both of which are certified 3x Platinum. His best-selling single, “Look At Me Now,” is certified 7x Platinum.

Chris has collaborated with numerous artists in his career, including Omarion’s “Post to Be” and Lil Dicky’s “Freaky Friday,” to name a few. In June 2022, he surpassed Elvis Presley as the artist with the most Billboard 100 entries.

In 2017, Chris released his autobiographical documentary, Welcome to My Life, which was directed by Andrew Listerman. The documentary sheds light on his life, music, and relationships, and also revealed his guilty plea for felony assault on his then-girlfriend, Rihanna, in 2009, and his imprisonment in 2014.
