Maple Glider‘s “I Get Into Trouble” Album Download Leak MP3 ZIP Files
Australian singer-songwriter Maple Glider, also known as Tori Zietsch and based in Naarm/Melbourne, has announced her second album, “I Get Into Trouble”.
The album is set to release on October 13th via Pieater/Partisan (pre-order available).
Tori says, “This album feels more like an opening up because there are things I wasn’t feeling ready to publicly share through songs, but now I finally feel ready.” “I Get Into Trouble” follows her debut album “To Enjoy Is The Only Thing”, which was released in 2021. The lead single from “I Get Into Trouble” is called “Dinah”. It is a satirical adaptation of the Bible story “Dinah gets into trouble”, and comments on the lack of safety in the Christian church and double standards for women, all over warm folk-rock.
Tori explains, “For me, ‘Dinah’ is the scariest thing I’ve ever put out. It’s probably the most pop-feeling song I’ve released, but it’s really quite an angry song. I have felt incredibly disturbed, frustrated, and sad in the process of writing and putting it together.”
Maple Glider has sold out her first London shows and will be touring the UK and Europe throughout September. Tori Zietsch is an Australian pop singer-songwriter from Melbourne, known professionally as Maple Glider. She released her debut album in June 2021.
