, a Sydney-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer, has announced her debut , ‘Mother', set to release on March 22nd via Therapy and Because Music.

The , co-produced by her long-term creative partner Tom McAlister (AKA Cop Envy / Big Ever), is a love letter to house music and includes a modern take on noughties R&B.

‘Mother' explores the acceleration of 's career, her struggles with mental health, and her recent entry into motherhood. She says, “I felt so much love and inspiration entering into motherhood that I just needed to create. I never thought I would be capable of something so powerful.”

The announcement of the came on November 9th alongside the release of ‘Self To Blame', the second single from the record. The garage-inspired track features singer-songwriter Kayla Blackmon.

In addition to the release, is launching day raves in Berlin and beyond under her Therapy outlet. She hopes to provide a safe and welcoming environment for all, especially parents and sober individuals.

Samantha Poulter, also known as Logic1000 and formerly known as DJ , is an Australian musician who is signed to Because Music.

Born in Sydney's suburb of Yarrawarrah, Samantha cites artists such as Loefah as early influences. She started her musical journey as a drummer in her sister's rock band, but she soon turned to producing music herself. In 2020, she moved to Berlin.

Samantha has talked openly about managing schizophrenia and how society's understanding of it is poor. She has also shared how an incident in 2011 nearly led to her serving jail time.

She has a child with her long-term partner, Tom McAlister.

Initially, Logic1000 went by the name DJ , but she had to change her name after receiving a cease-and-desist order. She relaunched under her updated moniker in 2019.

After discovering electronic music in 2017, she released her first self-titled EP in 2018. Her breakthrough came when played her music in his Coachella set. She has since remixed for artists such as Caribou.

In a Mixmag cover feature, Samantha revealed that her creative process is collaborative, and she mainly works with her partner, Thomas McAlister. She describes herself as “not a technical person” and enjoys working with analogue synths and recording ideas raw. Her music is characterized by euphoric melody.

In December 2020, she was Spotify's EQUAL artist of the month.

In 2021, she released her EP “You've Got The Whole Night To Go” and was featured on the Essential Mix with BBC Radio 1.
