Saviors (stylized as ‘SAVIORS') is the fourteenth studio by American rock band , released on January 19, 2024, through Reprise Records. The received generally positive reviews from critics and was praised by fans.

The came about after Billie Joe Armstrong mentioned in an interview with KROQ that seven songs had not made it to their last , Father of All Motherfuckers (2020), which received mixed reviews. Butch Walker, who produced the previous , faced heavy criticism and was not brought back for the new project. Long-time friend of the band, Rob Cavallo, stepped in instead. Cavallo had previously worked with the band on several successful albums, including Dookie (1994) and American Idiot (2004), but they hadn't worked together in almost a decade.

In February 2021, a year after the previous album's release, the band released “Here Comes the Shock,” produced by Walker, as part of their two-year deal with the NHL. They also released another standalone song, “Pollyanna,” in May 2021 to celebrate the Hella Mega Tour, which was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In November 2021, the band released “Holy Toledo!” which was produced by Walker and appeared on the soundtrack of the 2021 film Mark, Mary & Some Other People.

Saviors was recorded in London, England, and Los Angeles, California. Early reports claimed that the album would be titled 1972, signifying the year all three members were born. The band teased the album's name on social media, but in May 2023, the demo of “One Eyed Bastard” was leaked. The band played “1981” during their live performance at Festival d'été de Québec on July 16, 2023, before officially announcing the album on October 24, 2023.

They released the lead single “The American Dream Is Killing Me” alongside its music video. The song was the first track written for the album and had been kept in a box for some time, according to Billie Joe Armstrong. The band posted clips of the music video and snippets of the lyrics on the single's promo website before its release. The song was played live for the first time, along with another song from the album titled “Look Ma, No Brains!” at the When We Were Young festival in Las Vegas. On November 4, 2023, the band played “1981” again during a live show at the Bataclan in Paris, France.
