Baby Queen has announced the release of her debut album, ‘Quarter Life Crisis', via Polydor Records on October 6th.
The album includes twelve tracks and was produced by King Ed, who Baby Queen has been collaborating with for a long time. It features her previously released tracks, ‘Dream Girl' and ‘We Can Be Anything', which is a powerful and empowering anthem.
In her album, Baby Queen shares her journey through her early 20s as she leaves her childhood and adolescence behind. She discovers new parts of herself, speaks directly to the generation who are slowly falling out of love with social media, and explores her sexuality, her past, and her place in this world.
The album tells the story of Baby Queen's experiences of early adulthood, which she describes as being lonely, chaotic, beautiful, devastating, and inspiring. The songs reflect these experiences, creating a space where innocence and experience can coexist. Baby Queen hopes that the album will leave people feeling hopeful and inspired to experience all the beauty that life has to offer.

Baby Queen will also be going on tour to celebrate the release of her album. The tour starts on October 31st in Brighton and includes stops in Norwich, Birmingham, Sheffield, Liverpool, and more throughout November. Baby Queen will also perform in New York and Los Angeles in the same month. A show at London's O2 Forum Kentish Town is scheduled for November 15th. Tickets go on sale on August 18th at 10 am.
Born and raised in Durban, South Africa, Arabella Latham, professionally known as Baby Queen, is a South African singer based in London. She signed a recording contract with Polydor Records in 2020, and her first EP, ‘Medicine', was released in November 2020. Baby Queen's debut mixtape, ‘The Yearbook', was released in September 2021, and she made the long list for the Radio 1 Sound of 2022.
